He was anger….
He was hatred
His words were weapons used to intimidate
put you in your place
he could manipulate
just to feed his hunger
Whatever it took
weave a tale make you believe
get him that money
give him a ride
no questions
under his spell
Inside my mind i would yell
and look deep in his eyes
beneath the anger and lies
you could really tell
it wasn’t him
who was reeling me in
it was evil
it had him
His eyes were sad
they were pleading
look deep deep within
a soul locked and held captive
it was death that set him free
in my memory he is still alive
the brown eyes clearer
at peace…..
