Night has fallen and darkness and loneliness consume me
I close my eyes and fall to my knees
It is my savior who comforts me
But
I feel a strong force reckoning me
Calling me
Oh you know you have money
Tossing and turning in agony
Calling me
Oh you know there us relief
I fight
But
I feel very weak to the call of the night
Go out
And
I take flight
The angles are all around
So are the demons
I see them
Purchase my relief
It hits me
A sensation beyond belief
Within an hour panic sets in
Off I go again
Over and over chase the ultimate high
Money is gone but so are all my cares
Flying high completely unaware
My heart beats fast
I suck in the air as if it’s my last breath
I shake and sweat
This cant be it
Not yet
Night has fallen and darkness and loneliness consume me
I open my eyes
I’m in my bed
Surely not dead
I look around
My knees hit the ground
My savior was with me all along
He kept me safe and sound
I breathe in the clean sweet air
The ultimate relief
Oh thank you…thank you, Lord
I scream
