An Interview With my Addiction

BY: Marc McMahon

*As this is a first-time “interview I must warn you. The content that may come from this could be quite alarming and not suitable for minors without the consent of an adult!

This is an exclusive never read before interview, with the monster that lurks within me. This is raw Recovery Unsensored, and not for the faint at heart!  We will talk candidly with the one behind Marc’s addiction. The being in charge of the destructive behavior that has carved a 22-year swath of destruction, through his life.

Interviewer: 1) What was it that caused you to pick Marc as a host for your disease?

Addiction: That’s a good question and since I do not give out my trade secrets it may also be tough to answer. But I will say this. I did not choose Marc, he chose me! You all are so naive do you honestly think that I would waste my damn time chasing after those I wish to inflict? Lol, you arrogant fucking Humans make me wanna puke, seriously, like your so special I need to hunt you down and recruit you or some shit. No, no, no, It is the other way around my interviewer friend!

Marc came to me with a big ole backpack on full of his most precious possessions. Such as his insecurities and self-doubt. His guilt and shame from past failures and even his lack of self-confidence and fear of future success were in that pack when he first arrived. Again, he came looking for me!!

Interviewer: 2) What in your opinion caused Marc to seek you out?

Addiction: What kind of question is that? Do I look like a damn Psychologist? You almost asked me that question as if I actually cared about these people and would take the time to see what their individual problems are. Lol, I could care less to be honest you. Listen, the bottom line is this. They came to me, period, end of discussion and I am not giving them back, at least not until;  “Death does us part!”

Interviewer: 3) What is your favorite way to kill those addicted, quickly or slowly?

Addiction: Again, you are acting like I could really give two shits about those who Choose me. Believe it or not, it is all part of a skillfully calculated battle plan designed to keep society living in fear of those who are addicted. To shun them as Leapor’s within their own society, and isolate them from the rest of society that would actually be able to treat them. Possibly giving them a fighting chance at beating me!

I neither kill quickly or slowly. I kill skillfully, with a precise and calculated attack masterminded to wreak maximum havoc on as many people as possible. I kind of use them as suicide bombers in their own community. The best part of it is it’s not considered Terrorism. Just another poor week willed, underprivileged person, succumbing to the poisons of my desire.

Interviewer: 4) What does your next strategy include, what are the goals of your next campaign? What would you like to have accomplished after the smoke clears from your next attack?

Addiction: World domination, Lol! I’m going after the upper class. From the middle-upper class upward. I have the middle class down pretty well sowed up I figure for generations to come. So if I can create a sense of Dis-Ease among the upper echelons of this society and knock them off balance then I am that much closer to winning all.

With all that fighting amongst themselves,  who’s  left to look for a cure? If I can get sons and daughters of the world’s ruling elite addicted the amount of infighting and blame that will bring, could very well perpetuate the current stigma to a level never dreamed of before?

Interviewer: 5) What are your plans for Marc’s future? How do you feel about his new recovery after his past relapse? Do you feel defeated by Marc?

Addiction: Defeated, lol, shit……. This isn’t something that is new, this is how Marc manages his life best he can with me living inside of him trying to kill him every chance I get. I am far from feeling defeated, actually, I am glad he made his way back into recovery. Now all I have to do is what I always do with him at this point, wait.

I will watch him accomplish an extraordinary amount of tasks in a short period of time. I will stay back until he has rebuilt all his relationships and everyone is believing in him again and then, just when no one expects it. I’ll sneak in one night while he is sleeping and carry him away. Back with me where he belongs, at home, MY HOME!

Interviewer: 6) Final question, do you think Marc will ever beat you, once and for all?

Addiction: I’m going to say this, No! But, if anybody could, he would be the one. Not many people will endure the brutal beating of addiction like I bestowed upon him and be able to stay sober for any length of time. Marc not only has endured it but started his own war, his own manhunt, for me!

Joined with others like him they would be a formidable opponent for me and my henchmen but here’s bottom line. I’m Demon, he’s Man, who ya thinks gonna win?                                                                    I’m taking bets now -)
